Practice History
Heatherview Medical Centre practice was founded in the 1920s by Charles and Arthur Moody, followed by Drs Sharpe and Crabb based in Ashley Road with branch surgeries at Oakdale, Alderney and Wallisdown. Some of our past practitioners include Dr Morris, Dr Hobbs, Dr Lyon, Dr Dent, Dr Beck and Dr Davies.
We moved to our current premises at Alder Road in 1991.
Violent & Abusive Patients
This practice supports the government’s NHS zero tolerance zone campaign. Violence and abuse is a growing concern. GPs and their staff have the right to care for others without fear of being attacked or abused. Violent patients will be reported to the police and struck off the GP’s list. We ask that you treat your GP and practice staff courteously.
