Coronavirus Information

NHS England Invitation Letters

Have you received a letter from NHS England inviting you to book an appointment for your COVID-19 vaccination?

If so, please do not contact the surgery, but ring 119 to book your appointment at one of the mass vaccination centres.

Shore Medical Vaccine Clinics

If you cannot travel to one of the vaccination centres, or would prefer to receive your vaccine at our Heatherview Clinic, please wait to hear from us – we will be in touch as soon as you are eligible and a vaccination is available, there is no need to contact the surgery.

When you are eligible for a vaccine you will receive a text message from us inviting you to book into one of our clinics.  The text message will contain a link to make the booking, the link is personal to you and MUST NOT be shared.

Please do not worry if you and other members of your household/family receive your messages at different times – invitations are phased to prevent system overload.

It is essential that we have your correct mobile number and email address.  You can update your details using our downloadable form, please make sure you include your full name, your old contact details and your new ones.

How will text message invitations look?

You will receive an SMS similar to this one, with your name at the top and a Shore Medical Surgery name at the bottom.
