The quickest and easiest way to get an appointment at your Surgery is via our online system called Klinik. If you are registered with Shore Medical and have online access please follow this link Shore Online Access – Shore Medical Our care navigation team will then be in touch to offer you an appointment with an appropriate member of our clinical team. We are pleased to be able to offer appointments with GPs, Physiotherapists, Mental Health Nurses, Pharmacists, Social Prescribers, Nurse Practitioners and Musculoskeletal Practitioners as well as being able to signpost you to other local services such as sexual health clinics and psychological therapies.
If you do not have online access, or would prefer to request an appointment by phone, please contact your surgery on the usual number and a member of our team will complete a Klinik form for you. We aim to contact you within 4 working days to arrange a routine appointment, although high demand can sometimes cause a delay in our response.
Klinik forms can be submitted between 0730 and 1730 Monday to Friday.
Please do not use Klinik for medical emergencies or life-threatening conditions such as suspected strokes or heart attacks – please ring 999 in these circumstances.
The feedback we have received since introducing Klinik has been overwhelmingly positive, and statistics show that 88% of patients are offered an urgent same day appointment within 1 day of contacting the surgery. While the wait for a routine appointment is generally longer, patients are usually given a face-to-face appointment within 3 weeks.
